What can I expect from when taking a yoga class at Full Circle Yoga?
Expect a welcoming experience and well-balanced yoga practice from an experienced instructor. Yoga is an ancient and refined system for bettering your overall health—both physical and mental health. By connecting breath with movement, the mind and body are involved in the practice, which can create a deep effect on the entire psychophysical structure. Yoga at FCY can be light exercise or it can be vigorous—and you can work up quite a sweat! Most of the classes on our schedule are active/vigorous- please read our class descriptions.
What if I am not flexible?
Come as you are! We aim to cater all body types, all ages, and all levels. Our bodies were meant to move and bend and twist, so with consistency, it will not be long before you notice benefits from your yoga practice. As with any activity or goal that you hope to make strides with, shoot for consistency, the more often, the greater the benefits. Three or more classes a week is recommended for optimal results.
Which class should I take?
Please read the descriptions of the classes that suit your schedule. Choosing the right classes early on is key to discovering benefits from yoga. We offer a wide range of classes and there will be options in all of our classes to modify poses and also to take further variations of postures. Email [email protected] with class style questions.
Which package should I buy?
If you are brand-new, the 3-Class Introductory is the best place to start. It’s only $25 and just needs to be used within 30 days. You can take any classes on our schedule to get a feel for what we offer. Click here to buy.
After that, depending on how often you plan to come, there are several options. You can see all of our class options on our rates page.
Do I need to pre-register for classes?
Yes. Please visit our online schedule and click “Sign Up Now.” Then simply follow the steps to register and pay. Expiration dates for class packages are dated from the time that the first class is used (not the time of the purchase). FYI: If your plans change, please early cancel by logging into your account and canceling your reservation.
What do I need to bring to class?
Bring a yoga mat, water and a towel (if taking a heated class please bring a towel for your face and for your mat). Please note that we are not currently renting yoga mats. We have a water fountain and we also sell bottled water and we rent towels. If you need a mat, props or any yoga accessories, we have them for sale in our yoga boutique. Just arrive to class early if you plan to make a purchase. Our boutique is typically open 30 minutes before and after classes. If you have a question about our products, please email [email protected]
