Directions to the David Williams Workshop

            The workshop is being held at the gymnasium at Park Maitland School, 1450 South Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL, 32751.  For those of you who know where the Enzian Movie Theater is, the school is the first set of buildings south of the theater across Magnolia Road.  For where the entrances are, please read the driving directions below.

            Park in any parking place; there is enough parking for anyone.  Parking spaces are located all over the campus.  Please do not park on the grass, or at the Enzian Theater, or in the Dominos Pizza parking lot!

            The workshop is in the yellow and red Arts and Athletic Center, the largest building on the campus, across from the little artificial grass field.  It’s on the southern end of the campus.  The campus is quite small; you can walk across the length of it in less than five minutes.

            If you are lost, call either 407-227-4197 or 407-733-0830.  We will be manning these phones.  Do not call the regular studio phone number as all you will get will be an answering machine!

From I-4:  Take the Lee Road Exit (#88) and go east (toward Winter Park).  Lee Road ends at Highway 17-92, and at that junction, turn left onto 17-92.  You will go under the railroad overpass, and through the first traffic light (Park Avenue).  Bear to the right.  There are two ways to get into the school.  1) Turn right immediately after the Dominos Pizza place (Tangerine Place) which will come up quickly. From there you can park in the visitors parking spaces to the left, or turn right for more.   2) Go to the next traffic light (Magnolia) and turn right, and the third wrought iron gate – it will be the only one open – turn right.  You will see parking spaces soon after you enter.

From 17-92 North: Come into Maitland, continue south through the large intersection at Horatio.  Bear left after the third traffic light (Lake Avenue).  The next light is Magnolia.  Turn left.  At the third wrought iron gate – it will be the only one open – turn right.  You will see parking spaces soon after you enter.

From 17-92 South:  In Winter Park, continue north past the Winter Park Village, and soon you will come to the intersection of 17-92 and Lee Road.  Go through that, and soon you will go under the railroad overpass, and through the first traffic light (Park Avenue).  Bear to the right.  There are two ways to get into the school.  1) Turn right immediately after the Dominos Pizza place (Tangerine Place) which will come up quickly. From Highway 436: Turn west at Howell Branch Road.  Within about five minutes, it will become Horatio Avenue, which will take you to Highway 17-92.  Turn left on 17-92.  Bear left after the third traffic light (Lake Avenue).  The next light is Magnolia.  Turn left.  At the third wrought iron gate – it will be the only one open – turn right.  You will see parking spaces soon after you enter.
