A 500-hour Kripalu
Yoga teacher, Larissa Carlson is Manager of Yoga Education for
Kripalus Institute for Extraordinary Living. Larissa travels the
country teaching yoga workshps and trainings, and is creator of the
CDs: A Sadhana for Teachers, and Meditative Yoga Flow: A Kripalu

SCHEDULE
Friday, June 5,
7:00 - 9:00pm Intro to Pranayama Understanding the
purpose and history of pranayama in the 8-limbed path. Will include
some asana, pranayama, and meditation practice.)
Saturday, June 6,
10:30-1:15 Pranayama: Basics Pranayama workshop to
learn dirgha, ujjayi, kapalabhati, nadi shodhana, and shitali. For
each, Larissa demonstrates, explains benefits/contraindications,
discusses usage, offers variations, and guides students through
several rounds. This session begins with asana to warm up.
Saturday, June 6,
3:00-5:30 Full yoga practice: guided pranayama from the
morning session, moderate asana sequence with long holdings
(incorporating pranayama throughout--ujjayi and kapalabhati), savasana,
more pranayama, meditation. |

COST
$130 for the three sessions; you cannot register for individual
sessions as each session builds on the other. If you also
register for Larissa's Chakra workshop on Sunday, June 7, the cost is

REGISTRATION

Visa), or you will need to submit a registration form with a check or

POLICIES
* Full payment due upon registration.
* A cancellation fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund if
a student cancels the Pranayama Workshop, or $10 for the Chakra
workshop, or $30 for the full weekend.
* After Sunday, May 24, the cancellation fee for the Pranayama
Workshop will go up to $35, for the Chakra workshop it goes up
to $15, and for the full weekend it goes up to
$40.
* After Tuesday, June 2, no refunds for any reason.
* There are no exceptions to the above policies.
* We will send an email confirmation upon receipt of your
